The Speaker waived the House Special Committee on Fisheries                                                                     
referral for the following at the request of Representative Thompson,                                                           
Chair:                                                                                                                          
                                                                                                                                
    HOUSE BILL NO. 59                                                                                                           
    "An Act relating to loans made to commercial fishermen under the                                                            
    Commercial Fishing Loan Act for product quality improvements                                                                
    and energy efficiency upgrades; and providing for an effective                                                              
    date."                                                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
HB 59 was removed from the House Special Committee on Fisheries                                                                 
and referred to the Finance Committee.
